We wanted our invitations to be very unique. I knew that I wanted to use our photo, make it the design simple, modern, vintage but still romantic. I just loved how mustard yellow makes such a cute statement but I also wanted something that would contrast this color without looking so loud. Blue seemed like a great choice. As a bride, I wanted so many things that I didn’t know how to make all the ideas fit. I had to think of ways on how to make the design look cohesive.
So my sister shopped for hankies and got them printed at a friend’s t-shirt printing shop in Cebu while my fiance and I labored through printing, cutting out the stickers and tags. We shipped packages to and from until we had 3 different households helping us assemble the invitations.
In the end, we got our one of a kind invitation. We’re very thankful for all the help we got. I’m so lucky that my fiance, family and friends were so supportive and lent their time and effort in helping make the my design a reality.

Our wedding invitation
Our colors are mustard yellow and navy blue. We’ve always wanted a birds nest ring pillow and when we got our shipment of artificial birds we were surprised to find birds with our exact wedding colors. A few days before the wedding, we were able to make our ring and arrhae holders. Below are pics from our wedding photographers, Rock Paper Scissors.

CN Custom Wax Seal
Here’s another wax seal we made for another client. This elegant impression was made by a 2.8 cm coin with thin borders. The initials CN were produced by using an old script font.

Pictor Web Logo Redesign
Pictor Web is a web design company that wanted to redesign their current logo. The word pictor means “The Painter” which is a constellation and web comes from the company’s core business which is web application. The client wanted to retain some elements of the former logo in the new design such as the color purple, the company name, the painter’s easel and paint brush.
Taking into consideration the client’s requirements, I kept the image of the easel and transformed it into the letter P and I also morphed the brush in the former logo to form the letter W. Since the company specialized in web design and applications, I included an illustration of a laptop showing the abstract initials and I strategically placed the company name in lieu of a keyboard to add visual interest in what could have been a blank space while creatively fitting in the company name.
We bought these mustaches from a party shop. The pack contained a couple of mustaches made of this black fluffy material. Though it was fun to put on for our Christmas dinner party the fibers from the mustache kept coming off.
I researched about different types of mustaches and I found six that I liked. I’m thinking of making some felt mustaches that we can use for our photo booth. I’ll post my project if I have time to make the mustaches this weekend.

I would love to hear about any projects you’ve made using my template. Happy New Year!
I joined the t-shirt design competition at work. It’s for the company’s year end event which was inspired by the show The Amazing Race. We’re printing them on shirts with raglan sleeve
