Our friend Tonette recommended their wedding photographer, Rock Paper Scissors Photography for our upcoming wedding.
We met with Jeffroger and Jon at Ayala and found out that this young group is composed of close friends who go way back. The fact that they were friendly and easy going definitely made signing up on the spot easy.
We instantly fell in love with their style since it fit with our “fun, vintage yet romantic” theme. Their rates are competitive considering their impressive portfolio. Their style is fresh, trendy and most definitely not dated. It is perfect for those couples looking to inject a fun yet chic element into their wedding.
Although I detest being photographed, I look forward to our engagement photo shoot and seeing our wedding day photos.

Candy Bar Jars
We’re going to have a candy bar together with cake for dessert. We bought jars whenever we saw cheap but beautiful jars in stores. The jars are from Ikea, Daiso and this shop at North Bridge Road. The cheapest jar is at $2 and the most expensive one is at $16. We’re going to ship some bulk candy from the US as an added treat for our guest. We’re going to get blue and yellow candies to match our theme.

I was browsing the web for some unique ideas for our wedding when I stumbled upon the site of wedding photographer Jonas Peterson. I saw Paul and Cassie’s unique guestbook which was a wedding tree. I just love the idea and we will probably go for this instead of the usual photobook. I would love to hang my very own print at home.
Katrina Alana Save the Date
We made our own save the date from an inspiration I got from one of the wedding blogs. I’m trying to rattle my brains in hopes of remebering which blog featured my Save The Date inspiration.
Just like any other frugalista out there, we wanted to sent the word out in style without breaking the bank. We designed the invites using a photo we took using our camera and used Photoshop to help with the layout magic. We’re skipping the envelopes and sending these out as post cards as a fun suprise for our guests and by keeping to standard post shipping sizes we’re saving on postage so that we can “allocate” our funds on the other wedding must haves.
Our wedding colors are completely different from the ones we used but we wanted to inject a bit of our personal style as prelude to our special day.

I might be changing the bridesmaids dresses for these beautiful wrap dresses. The original plan was to buy the fabric, get a tailor or seamstress sew the gowns and let my bridesmaids decide which style they want.
