Whenever I travel, I’m always at a loss on how to pack my earrings and necklaces. At the end of each trip, I usually manage to loose or leave behind an earring or lock. I’ve been coveting a jewelry case to keep my baubles and I thought I’d share a few of the cases that caught my eye. I’m loving the Pisa Travel Case. Which one do you prefer?
Most women I know will wear high heels even to a garden event. I just dread it when the heels of my brand new shoes sink into the ground or worse into the mud. I wish I had known about this heel protector from SoleMates when we had our garden wedding. What it does is to increase the surface area of the heel so that it prevents the heel from sinking into the ground.
Can you spot the almost invisible heel attachment?
I also love this simple idea of placing stepping stones for bridesmaids to stand in so that their shoes don’t sink in the grass. The couple, Sarah and Jake, obviously put a lot of thought regarding the comfort of their bridesmaids during their garden ceremony.
I couldn’t resist getting this Penmanship poster at City Luxe yesterday. This was similar to the guide we had growing up. My handwriting was so awful until I discovered calligraphy in high school and decided to put some effort in writing.
Although I don’t have a house yet, I’m slowly collecting things to decorate my future home. I’ll be hanging this in my future library / studio.
I rarely post about beauty products unless I absolutely love them and I do love the Kind to Skin range from Simple. I’ve had problems with my combination skin to dry skin and I’ve tried a lot of different brands of moisturizers over the years to try to get rid of my dry spots on my face.
A colleague suggested that I try the range from Simple and I tried the moisturizer a few months ago. I liked it so much that I bought the toner and the soap.
Effective and Cheap
Although it is advertised as non-perfumed there is a light scent that I can’t quite describe. It’s not unpleasant or anything but it’s not unscented. The price range is about SGD $10-15 and that’s a bargain.
We’re always looking for new ways on how to improve our packaging without breaking the bank and we finally decided to make our logo into a rubber stamp. I just love how it looks on the kraft paper envelopes. What do you think?
