We had a free craft party sponsored by Kokoru last Saturday at The Office in Chinatown. We partnered with Crafty Singapore and invited team members and people we’ve met online to join the event.
Camee represented Olgrin and Kokoru. She was there to help us with the event. It was nice to chat and catch up with old friends and finally meet some people we’ve met online in person.
Two hours seems like such a short time for crafting and having refreshments. I didn’t manage to make a papercraft since we we so busy going around and assisting the participants. We provided some templates for the designs I made a few months ago but I need to refine them more.
These are some of the Kokoru papercrafts made during the craft party.
We’d also like to thank Sally for bringing cupcakes.
Thanks to Photosaurus Studio for the pictures. If you would like to make your own creations, Kokoru products can be purchased at Evergreen outlets throughout Singapore.

We went to the Handmade Singapore’s Craft Party last weekend. Suzi from Tiramisuzi organized the event at her apartment. There were eight participants and we were going to carve linocuts using this soft rubber from Art Friends.
Sketch and Final Linocut
The theme was for the craft party was “Wish you were here”. It was our own delayed celebration of the Etsy worldwide craft party celebration.
My Pardo Print
I made a linocut of my parent’s house because I missed my family and I wished they were with me.
Lex’s Camera Linocut
I’ll post links from the other participant’s blog when their posts go up.
I’ve always wanted a Print Gocco Machine of my own but still haven’t gotten around to purchasing one. I was excited about this workshop but unfortunately I have an appointment at the same time as the workshop. If you’d like to try Print Gocco, Joe from Monster Gallery is holding a workshop on Saturday. Interested parties can email Joe at email@example.com.
Suzi from Tiramisuzi is one of our leaders from Singapore Handmade. She is hosting a craft party at her place this weekend. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow crafters and make new friends. The linocut craft party will be on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Interested parties can book a slot buy purchasing a ticket via Eventbrite.
We had a craft party with Etsy folks and friends at Marie’s place. Marie and I thought that it would be a fun way to get together aside from our regular meet-up where we discuss issues for small businesses over coffee with other members. With all team events, we welcome members and guests. Joining us for this event are:
